I'm down on the south coast, Christchurch, and have just got a Golf project which has a 9'' ADC motor already mounted to the existing transmission. It needs batteries, controller, throttle pot, charger, contactors, etc...

I'm in North Lincolnshire. Building a Mk2 Skoda Favorit EV at present. Will be Lithium powered, 9" forklift motor, (similar to the Impulse9 spec.) open revolt controller

I'm in the Greater Manchester area and I have an electric tractor, just for the heck of it, and I am slowly scratch building an electric reverse trike, in the basement of my house, that will be direct chain driven by an 11" motor.

I'm currently living in Billericay, Essex and designing an EV in my spare time. I drive a Mazda MX5 1.8S.

Good idea Adam. I'm up in Newcastle on Tyne. Converting a mini, very slowly. I'm hoping to take advantage of a few quiet days over New Year to make a start on building my battery pack.

I trust that you're all having a restful festive period. I think I might need to upgrade the size of my battery pack to cope with my extra weight after eating too much turkey!!!

I got a hydraulic crimper as a present!!! Really chuffed with it!! Just need to get our house purchase out of the way and get the conversion done before the new baby arrives in May!!!

I've just been through your build thread and I am very impressed.

I'll steal your hair dryer idea for sure. Whether I'll get around to installing into the existing matrix I'm not sure...perhaps it might just sit in the cab...that way I can do my hair if I get caught in a shower while I'm out!!

I really like your gauge installation. I'd be interested where you got the gauges? I think I'll just go for pack voltage and total current draw but we'll see.

hi guy's, I'm near Uttoxeter in staffordshire. not an EVer as yet, but plans are afoot. I'm after building a small project first, as a get me the 15 mile round trip to work and back vehicle. maybe a quad bike based creation first before I go all out and convert a car.

I stumbled across this group tonight, so I thought I'd better join up!

I've finally got the Supra up and running as an EV.
It's pretty slow at the moment since I have some crappy 12V floodies from Costco installed - it runs out of volts to make the motor pull at high revs, and it runs out of current too when trying to accelerate the heavy beast!

But it does work!

Now I need to decide what real batteries I should put in
(lithiums... lithiums....)
