I have a question regarding the fast semiconductor fuses:

Is one enough to protect the controller, or is it better to have one per battery bundle (I have 3 bundles of 12 cells).

Also, where is the best place to insert them into the battery/contactor/controller circuit? Does it matter where if it is in series with the batteries?

I see you got an answer in the main forum. I thought I'd get an email or something if somebody posted here. I don't remember getting one, but I get lots of email and perhaps I deleted it with some of the other spam.

Like Tesseract indicated, there is only one fuse required to protect from the event of a short, but many use one per battery box to protect each box separately.

I can't find mention of it anywhere, so I assume that these fuses are not polarity sensitive. I hope I'm right.
