Hey Ziggy, I chatted with you a while back when I first got my VW conversion. Could I ask you for a little advise? I bought my car 2 years ago, drove it to work everyday that first year, and just kinda fell out of love with it after that. Its a heavy lead sled, not exactly what I had in mind.
I think I might want to sell it, but not sure what to ask. The batteries are old and probably not much good. The body has a lot of rust. It would probably be best for someone to buy it for parts and start a new build.Any Ideas?

wanted to say thanx again and see if you are in the know on where you'd take an ev in dallas if you didn't know what to do next? left charger off last nite and checked cells ,6.7 approx. now but no connection is being made to get it to move over a few inches .Found the following info. from the seller:excerpt from seller :The motor will sutain running at 190 amps continually there is a chart how long you can run at what amount of amperage. If racing this motor will take 2000 amps for 15 secs. very much torque. At that amperage it could break the drive train. The controller on the truck is a 750 amp. logi controller. it is adjustable, I have it set to deliver about 350 to 400 amps top. I try to drive it at about 40 to 190 amps

I need to get someone local to go over everything logically since the seller was from ohio I got no education on this vehicle other than what he told me .If you know of someone good in dallas please advise. thanx again,
    will

The panels were put on the car by Solar Electric Engineering back 92. They called the cars "Destiny 2000". They built 34 of them and some had the "solar" option. The whole front clip was designed and made by them for the cells. There is no name on them so don't even know the wattage.
