Hi Jack, I was wondering if you still have a Brusa 514 charger. We are a Formula Team from Canada buiding a 600V car, but as you know, not many chargers support that voltage unfortunately.

Hi Jackbauer, First off, thanks for all the great videos on youtube, showing the Enova controller. I too have one of these "nice bits of kit that nobody can get to work", so after watching one video of yours I contacted johannes Huebner - so I may go down that route.
I have started removing bits from the Enova and (I'm guessing) that the battery charger pcb has no interlock (white wire) or external control wires. So can this be used as is, ie straight from the battery pack? I have no batteries at the moment so I can't test it myself.
    Many thanks ..... Steve

I read you bought the emw evdisplay unit. Do you happen to know where I can get the stream protocol/definition? I haven't found it on the web. If you don't know, would you be willing to capture a sample for me? I could tell you how, using a BT serial application. I'm sure it is just sending out a stream of characters. Thanks.

    Damien,

Do you have any of the Open Revolt source that Paul modified for you - particularly the hall throttle? He's lost it in a disk crash (along with tach code), so if you have anything, could you please pass it along.

    Thanks,

Considering a BMW EV conversion. How did you handle the ECU and/or the instrument panel interfaces? Thanks in advance for your time.

My real name is Damien but dont tell anyone! My car controller has been running sucessfully for the past 9 months with an unmodified revolt control board. That said it is driving a single 800amp igbt. It all depends on the igbt being used.

Jack, if that is your real name :)
I've been following along the revolt controller build and like a lot of your enhancements. Right now I've just got a stripped down controller with a microcontroller that can output PWM, and the opticoupler and MOSFET driver from the P&S design. Then I've got a bunch of CM400DU-12Fs to drive. Like you've done with your bike contoller.
With the better caps buffering the MOSFET driver, are you having good luck driving those IGBTs? I've been following the recent Powerex driver board design, but I don't yet see where it's that much better than the Micrel MIC4511 driver. How many IGBTs would you recommend driving with one driver IC?
    Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Again, you seem to be making some nice enhancements over the P&S design. Definately want to go down that road, but with my own microprocessor.
    Darin
