Hello. I've been looking for a female spline for the leaf motor. I see that you have mated yours to an existing transmission. Did you have to get a spline made or is there something easily accessible? Someone commented on a Fiat Multiplas clutch but we don't get them in Canada. People seem to have done it but no one has said where it was found. Do I have to get one machined?
    Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike, I hear you have used a Leaf motor without the gear reducer. How did it work? ANy issues? I have to make a decision about removing the entire transaxle from my truck or just adding the motor in place of the drive shaft would be much much simpler. Do you have any advise?

I saw your post on the arduino forum...
I am writing to encourage you to share what you learn... I am interested in doing the same thing but I have to learn about programming and arduino first, as I have zero experience there...
as far as reading the high voltage for the board, I know from messing with the elcon chargers that they have a certain amount of resistors there that scale the voltage down by a percentage in a linear way... not sure if that would fit the your needs by that was my thought..

Hello I would like to ask what the typical energy density of sinopoly cell would be and how much extra capacity they could have.

    Hi Martin,

I got mine from TC Charger, 1500w was about £250 delivered. You'll have to email them for pricing. I'll vouch for their service.

Took around a week and a half to arrive, no paperwork whatsoever.

Otherwise GWL power sell the same chargers for a little more but in the EU.

Don't know about their service but a little steeper on price than going direct.

    Hi Mike,
I've got 12 cheap, used Yuasa 12v VRLA 90ah batteries on there way to me, hopefully they will be good enough for my test needs.
Just wondered if you can point me in the right direction of a suitable (CHEAP) charger?
Looked on eBay but maybe I'm not putting the right search word.

Hi Mike, how are you getting on with becoming a battery supplier?? Have you had any thought about Leasing the cells? I have a viable business plan which could be made more plausible with the help of a battery company. If you'd like to talk more about this my number is

Excuse my ignorance, what are marker lights! do you mean indicators? (on the wheel arch?)

My car is completely standard so i would asume that it is standard for at least the UK versions
