    Tom,

this is not the right area to ask, you'd be better off posting a public thread. I don't know much about fittings, I mostly work with electrical part. Its been a long time since I sold the Miata and memory of PS Pump is fading , LOL.

    Dear Dimitri,
I am restoring a 1969 Aston Martin DBS. My site is OHMSSDBS.com. I am very interested in your posts on the MR2 Spyder pump. I plan on using one on my DBS as a replacement for the troublesome and leaky ZF/Adwest unit. I have a few questions for you, and feel free to write to me on my e-mail: vivlempereur@hotmail.com.
There is a boss on the cast body of the pump, which has a hole in it. It is directly opposite what looks to be the high pressure output side. Do you know what this is for? Some sort of vent? I am perplexed by it.
Just purchased one from Toyotoa today, and I will be using your diagram to install. Would you recommend a cooler placed right after the pump, on the high pressure side, or on the return end?
    Thank you, Tom

You still need manual tranny, you will use clutch disk as part of motor coupler. You will not need flywheel, but still need clutch disk, because it has splines to match with tranny shaft. Automatic tranny is very difficult to use in EV, search this forum to find out why auto tranny is no good for EV.

Hello, I am wanting to do a miate conversion and am looking for a car. I read you went clutchless.....does that mean I can look for an automatic miata and by pass the tranny, or do I still need to look for a manual tranny car to convert? Oh and why/how. Thanks so much,
    Jameson
