Default Bad boy with BMS

A BMS with HVC would seem to obviate the need for an expensive battery charger. Let the BMS cut off an AC relay in front of a bad boy and you're good to go.

Yup, all you need is a CC/CV charger.... and it can be stupid as hell.

That is why I initially am using two Meanwell power supplies. They are inexspensive and very stupid. I am also the BMS but I use cellogs to monitor my 32 cells.

Read this from Elithion,

http://lithiumate.elithion.com/php/charger.php

Basically with a smart BMS, you don't need anything smart, let the BMS control charging. Just make sure the BMS is able to shut the charger off (relay, SSR, enable line, etc).
