I'm planning my battery pack location, comprised of 65 100ah cells.
I've worked out that I can fit 45 cells in a custom aluminum box where the back seat used to be, and a further 20 cells again in a custom box where the spare wheel was.
I'm hoping that as the rear seat area is positioned between the front and rear wheels the bulk of the pack weight will be evenly distributed.
All other components will be in the engine compartment.
Other than the physical wiring is there any disadvantage to splitting a battery pack in to 2 or even 3 separate locations? (I'm thinking performance efficiency losses)?
Is this another stupid question
