Re: The Climate Change Debate Thread
Please someone tell me how to "UNSUBSCRIBE" to "Climate Change Debate". I find many posts here offensive, but for the life of me, I can't find how to unsubscribe it.
I don't believe we are changing the climate and most of what we've been told is wrong, but I like wind power and I like my electric car. I plan to go GSHP on my home soon, not because of global warming, but because I want to save $$$.
Some of the guys posting here need to slow down and think about what they are about to say first. Geese!

Go to thread tools and click unsubscribe. Yep, nothing worth the effort on here lately.

Duh. Thanks. I'll drop in to see what's being said from time to time, but I won't keep getting the emails. Thanks for your help.

Are you getting notifications in your Email inbox at home? If so, that can be turned off too. Its one of the first things I did after I signed up.

please be specific - what jobs dont creatre polution, or ordors, and "dont mess with mother earth."
i dont know of anything that is made that does not mess with mother earth or create smells or polution. they dont exist.
even breathing causes carbon dioxide and well farting methane.
greenies want a non earth - where nothing ever changes, clothes dont get dirty and have to be washed, the air is always clean, animals dont eat plants, or each other.

Re: The Climate Change Debate Thread
Emission Trading Scheme takes another blow:
http://wattsupwiththat.com/2010/03/1...carbon-market/
It seems that the UN has been caught double selling carbon credits. Looks like Puchari is doing what he does best.....getting caught
If this keeps up, next week I can probably buy out all the carbon credits on the market and have my total footprint in the negative of billions of tons on paper. But guess what? It won't make one single difference to the environment.
How anyone can still defend anything the UN does on behalf of saving the planet is beyond my understanding. Likewise why should I trust anything they have to say on the science of the matter. Corruption doesn't seem to really cover the definition of what's happening.
Since when did the UN start issuing currency? Because thats what this amounts to.

Re: The Climate Change Debate Thread
I can see only one reason our U.S. politicians can't see that climate change is a scam is that they are somehow making money from it.

like algore? or pelosi or reid? how about boy hussein - the man child that keeps telling the world America is bad.
this is all a tax scheme it always has been and always will be.
just wait until the health care fraud passes and you are all forced to buy junk health care and instead of a nurse or doctor you can talk to the irs about the problems you are having.

Re: The Climate Change Debate Thread
With apologies in advance for shameless self promotion, it seems a skeptical letter I sent to a BC newspaper was published. It even shows up on a google news search. The letter was a response to this article by a local environmentalist that writes a weekly column.
His letter: http://www.canada.com/business/Messa...514/story.html
My reply: http://www.canada.com/response+from+...752/story.html
This isn't the first letter I ever had published but it is the first one that was openly skeptical of climate alarmism (and it wasn't for lack of trying on my part). Funny thing is, I forgot to include my Phone number when I Emailed it out. Technically that alone would be reason to not publish it. I'm at a loss to explain how this got through.
Maybe climate skeptics have a voice in the media after all? Now that crazy talk, sorry, I should have known better. Must have been a fluke

Re: The Climate Change Debate Thread
No apologies needed. You did get published and that is enough to be able to boast a bit. Excellent. Even if it was a fluke.
