I have been waiting for the sinopoly to be available
For sometime. I called the guy at the link below twice.

http://evolveelectrics.com/Sinopoly_...l#cart_restore

The good news is he usually answers the phone. However his arrival and order date for the cells are in flux. Also he doesn't recall our previous conversations.

He tried to sell me calb. That would be fine if I didn't already have the thundersky cells/chemistry. BTW. I did speak with Keegan and he was easy to communicate with. Thanks for that lead.

Anyway that's where I'm at and no troublesome news about the threads topic (evtech).

Al

Sorry about raising this thread.from the dead.

I thought you might find my update interesting if not entertaining.

The fellow/entity above I tried to by the sinoply from has not kept in touch not provided any information. So whatever genius.

Meanwhile I have continued my search for thundersky/sinopoly or similar cells.

I consider my self lucky to have found and purchases these @ a reasonable cost.

...

There's almost the whole story, but not quite. The fellow I purchases from originally intended to use them in a engineering project but decided to go a different direction. I will say he was a very talented and amicable young man.

I had some recent med work to my foot and the young man loaded the product in my vehicle. ......... It was then I noted the lifepo4's were in the original shipping box. Printed on the box:

It's been nice chatting with you here at this forum.

unlikely we will be able to catch up with you, or the 'nice young man', but your cells are most certainly ill-gotten and twice sold. Both James Morrison and David Kois has proven themselves shameless hustlers that are due whatever punishment the cosmos has in store for them for breaking the dreams of so many.

Mr. Baker, I am sure the batteries were purchases before the company went south. If you can prove otherwise please do.

I am aware of the hard feelings that exist surrounding this vendor and the product. There was no under the table or dealing with nefarious persons in this purchase. I only got them today and traveled a distance to get them. I didn't and still do not associate my purchase in the negative light you are attempting to cast on my dealings.

The only reason I made this post was simply because I thought the synchronicity when I joined this thread and, after several attempts to purchase this chemistry, then finally inadvertently winding up with the product the way I did.

The young man I purchased them from is a mechanical engineer and very much a straight laced fellow.

Here is what I will do for you. If you have access to the serial numbers of the cells you suggest I have which you state are yours, get them to me. I will do a comparison with I have, if they match I will return them to a neutral party. I will.take the loss instead of you. That way you can be pleased that I got ripped off rather than you.

You don't need to catch up to me. I'll tell you exactly where I am on the Ft. Berthoud Indian reservation in North Dakota. I work for the only government defense contractor in the area.

Now bring it on pal if you got any guts and are not yet another whiner on the net. Otherwise don't be pointing any fingers at me.

Basically all of the Thunderskies sold by CurrentEVtech have been 'stolen' from the Plaintiff group in the original EVComponents fiasco. The Thunderskies that we were able to recover from James Morrison were then sold on consignment thru CurrentEVtech...but D. Kois never paid the Group for them, he kept 100% of the sales from all the batteries and some other inventory of value before releasing the piddling remainder to a reputable third party vender for the Group.

CALB cells we have serial numbers for since they all have capacity test numbers from the factory. Thunderskies unfortunately do not, so are harder to trace becaue the serial numbers were not recorded anywhere in the Settlement Inventory we got from Kois when he accepted the goods to be re-sold.

Basically, if you bought Thunderskies after about April, 2010, chances are they were part of either the original scam by Morrison, or the Settlement sale theft by Kois, or purchased by Kois with money he made from selling our cells and not paying us for. It may be possible that your nice middleman was unaware of this whole story and bought the cells in good faith from Kois at a good price, and then re-sold to you for some reason.... but I doubt the story is all that squeaky clean if it could be traced back to when and how the cells were obtained by CurrentEVtech.

The whole series of events is so twisted its hard to follow, and I don't think anyone can blame you for final purchase of the cells in good faith. Believe me, I am not 'just another whiner', I am just one of 23 Plaintiffs that lost between $5k and $10k each first to Morrison/EVComponents, and then a second time when the bulk of what we recovered was sold by Kois/ CurrentEVtech and never paid to us. that's not whining, thats just the facts regarding CurrentEVtech.... which is what this thread is about.
