Basically all of the Thunderskies sold by CurrentEVtech have been 'stolen' from the Plaintiff group in the original EVComponents fiasco. The Thunderskies that we were able to recover from James Morrison were then sold on consignment thru CurrentEVtech...but D. Kois never paid the Group for them, he kept 100% of the sales from all the batteries and some other inventory of value before releasing the piddling remainder to a reputable third party vender for the Group.
CALB cells we have serial numbers for since they all have capacity test numbers from the factory. Thunderskies unfortunately do not, so are harder to trace becaue the serial numbers were not recorded anywhere in the Settlement Inventory we got from Kois when he accepted the goods to be re-sold.
Basically, if you bought Thunderskies after about April, 2010, chances are they were part of either the original scam by Morrison, or the Settlement sale theft by Kois, or purchased by Kois with money he made from selling our cells and not paying us for. It may be possible that your nice middleman was unaware of this whole story and bought the cells in good faith from Kois at a good price, and then re-sold to you for some reason.... but I doubt the story is all that squeaky clean if it could be traced back to when and how the cells were obtained by CurrentEVtech.
The whole series of events is so twisted its hard to follow, and I don't think anyone can blame you for final purchase of the cells in good faith. Believe me, I am not 'just another whiner', I am just one of 23 Plaintiffs that lost between $5k and $10k each first to Morrison/EVComponents, and then a second time when the bulk of what we recovered was sold by Kois/ CurrentEVtech and never paid to us. that's not whining, thats just the facts regarding CurrentEVtech.... which is what this thread is about.
