Have my son-in-law through auto collison class (1 1/2 years) and getting ready to start rehab work on 1969 VW Convertible to convert to electric.
Bought the chassis on ebay 2 years ago and in has new pans, new cables, rebuilt transmission, disc brakes all around, Chevy 5x4.75 wheels with some new Foose wheels.

Body is in decent shape except where top frame mounts into body. Convertible top frame appears to have been ripped out.

The thought has crossed by mind about taking the convertible body and changing into a VW Woodie and doing the electric conversion from there.
Looking at using Warp9 with Soliton Controller.

Any thoughts?
