The Ford Focus' on-board 6.6kW charger will recharge its pack to 80+% in
3 hours, and a full charge in ~4 hours from a Level-2 6.6kW J1772
If I understood Cruisin 's point, it was because drivers are dinged by
the hour when getting a charge off a public EVSE that dings a fee,
charging at the maximum rate a Level-2 6.6kW source can provide is more
cost effective than charging at a slower rate off that same source. The
Focus could get in and out in less time, thus be dinging less public
EVSE fee co$t.
