GEM car re-conversion
I bought a 2002 GEM car that has been custom built with a R6 motor to a ATV rear end. Im thinking about making it more drivable and put a D&D motor to the current rear end or a different one. Right now it has IRS that is nice but the rear end is locked, open diff would be better.
The main reason why I wouldnt start a new one is because this was built from the frame up, air bagged suspension and a arms, the whole nine.
What are my options? Think 72v to 96v. Is a F&R switch possible? Im looking into rear end options. I do not have room for a tranny. Motor to diff only. Chain or direct to rear end. Thanks
