My EV is a minivan. I've taken out the back row of seats so I have one large battery box sitting behind the seats. The HV cables go down through the floor and run underneath along the centre of the van to the engine bay. My main fuse is in the battery box.
I have an AC55 and DMOC. It doesn't seem useful to put an always-on contactor on the pack and connect the coil to an inertia switch, because I can reduce HV connections and still cut the motor by having the inertia switch in series with the aux 12v power to the motor controller.
Any thoughts?
