Default Lester Charger Repair

I've got a Lester 12v/96v charger, mod # 09387 for charging my 96 volt SAAB 96,. The 12 volt side works fine but teh 96 volt side does not. I found teh 10 gauge lead from teh fuse to teh Amp meter burned through at teh meter end. I swapped out the 0-30 amp meter from my Lester 120 volt charger and replaced the lead. Still nothing. Lester Charger doesn't support or repair these "antiques" as thet call them. Does anyone have a suggestion on who repairs old Lester chargers in the New York, NJ, CT area?

Thanks,

Christen

If you can't find anyone to work on it here is a link to a wiring diagram that might help you diagnose it yourself.

Thumbs up Re: Lester Charger Repair

Alvin and Roy, thanks for your reply and wiring diagram. I do have the origial diagram and 4 page "manual" from Lester but appreciate your willingness to help out.

I did find a local battery and charger maintenance company in Queens, NY, Elecrtic Battery Co. LLC, dropped the charger off this morning. I didn't want to ship this anywher as it weighs about 70 lbs. We'll see what they find out.
