Hi all,
some information on single cell chargers?

What information do you want?

Presumably for Li-ion or LiFePO4 cells?

A charger for Li-ion needs a means to limit current, an upper voltage shutoff (adjustable for different cell types), and preferrably a means to taper off the current as voltage rises above a certain value.

I just use CC/CV power supplies with individual cells, or parallel groups.
I have a couple of old HP 6651A's that put out 0-8v @ 0-50A
So I can either charge a single/pair of LiFePO4 cells at a time, or a single li-ion cell. Put them in parallel and I have 100A into the cell(s).

They work great, have remote voltage sensing so you can control the voltage at the cell, not at the output terminals of the power supply.

They don't terminate on their own, but I've used simple current meters with the built in relays to open a contactor when the current drops below a set value. IE terminate below 2A.
