Default Thanks, Wiki contributor(s)!

Like many on the forum, I've been admonished (in the parlance of such forums) to RTFM, read the FAQ, check the Wiki, etc.

Well, heeding the advice paid off, so now I have some understanding of the "Peukert Effect." It turns out to be pretty much what I thought it was, both from experience and from deducing from context. Basically, it's a kind of reactance with a very long time constant, which of course depends on the Peukert number for a particular battery.

Just curious, here. I'm not the sharpest knife in the box when it comes to clever html and wiki editing. Is it possible to add an entry in the Wiki index for Peukert? I'm thinking the link would direct the user to the part of "Battery 101a" that discusses Peukert. Or should a new section deal with Peukert specifically?

Thanks.

-Mark

All you do to start a new article is to click on the 'Nuwiki' link on the very left side of the header and then click create new article. It is pretty much exactly the same as posting a forum message so you shouldn't have any trouble.

Go right ahead an start the topic and we'll hopefully get some more people adding input.
