Default Whats your dream EV donor

OK, I thought I'd ask the question after a few interesting posts in my other thread.

If money was NO OBJECT, and you can only choose one, what would be your dream donor car? Not your commuter, not your work vehicle I'm talking about you weekend pride and joy toy

Just 1 car each guys.

I rather like the classics

Actually that's a a very good plan. It's exotic but a "can do". Cool That's a kit of a spyder innit?

You don't see many kit cars in Australia unless they are mega buck jobs. I think it's a regulatory thing. Huge bummer. I hope you guys in the US appreciate how lucky you all are

Actually I don't think it's in my sig but it was done as an attachment. My home server is down and I wanted a way to upload a pic to view. Sweet little car. Here is what I already have for it. A monster Kostov and Zapi.

Gotta love that one. That is a sweet ride. Kostov and Zapi would go good in that.

Yes I've heard of all of these and except for the westfield types and the odd cobra, you dont see any of them on the road. Not here in Adelaide anyway. I think you can also get GT40's here to but I've never seen any of them.
Used to see Pervise eurekas all the time in the 70's and 80's.

I have to say that Lexus 2054 is something I would love to build into an EV.

Drag CD of less than 0.2, four seating positions, and completely composite.

For me to really beleive in an EV it needs to have a long range, this car was documented as reaching 375 miles when running on NIMH batteries. What I'm really after in an EV is to rediscover the care free joy of driving that used to come with cheap gas and lack of regard for the envoronment. Ignorance can really be bliss sometimes.......

A car that has a 400 mile range, can be fueled up for free at home, that doesn't burn fuel, and is nearly maintinance free would put a lot of the fun back in driving for me. Even more if it won't rust away on me.
