I am currently trying to buy 48 cells from Sinopoly, but I am having a VERY difficult time finding good information about how to get the cells to my door.

I have a quote for the price of the cells and hardware, and a quote for shipping to the Houston, TX sea port, and a quote for air shipment to the DFW airport, but I can't get them to give me any information on how to get them from the port to me. I've asked three times and haven't gotten a response to the port to home query... Perhaps they don't have that information.

Can someone please point me in the right direction for getting the cells thru US customs and to my door? Does anyone have a freight forwarding company that they can recommend for a small order like this? This is my first time purchasing from China and I am finding the process very frustrating.

I'm almost to the point of just paying the premium price and getting the physically bigger cells from CALB, but I really want the smaller LFP60AHA(B) Sinopoly cells... the smaller size makes a huge difference on my motorcycle project. I'm not even sure that CALB would be a premium price after the unknown cost of (US side) shipping and US customs fees on the Sinopoly cells.

If the Chinese manufacturers really want to sell more cells in the US, they need to have agents that can give door to door quotes.

You can get 60 ah cells from calb...might take longer though.

Also you should pay the customs and tax in your side. It is a DDU trade term.
Rate from LA (Imperial) to door will be $350 via rail.
+clearance $ 125 (clear at LA)
+ Bond $ 55 (min) or value+duty/$ 1000x5.5
+ MPF $25(min) or 0.3464% of total value or $ 485 (max)
+ HMF 0.125% of total value
+ Clean truck $ 2 per cbm
+ Pierpas $ 4 per cbm
+ h/c $65
+ ISF $45
+ISF bond $50
Rate is applies to:
1) Stackable cargo, non HAZ Material
2) TO commercial area with receiving dock
3) Consignee offloads/1 hr free/$85 thereafter

For small quantity , better to choose to ship by air .

That was for shipping from China to LA via ship, then from LA to Dallas via train, then to the office via truck... I think.

I see ,

i would rather recommend shipping by air or by DHL , UPS , FEDEX .

For weight above 50kg to USA (door to door service from China to USA) , I think maybe can get the price of 5.0-5.6 USD/KG .


If quantity is not so big , the shipping cost by sea itself is very low , but

CUSTOM fee , document fee , and all the other coufusing fees .... not so competitive as that by air .


Except for DHL , there is an ordianry air . The time is similar as DHL ( price is a little bit lower) , just you need to go to the airport to get the goods .

Take into all the conditions into consideration , DHL/UPS/FEDex is still more competitive .
