Given the wall of silence I might chime in, I do not believe that standard FLA batteries are cost effective to ship from china to the US except maybe in extreme quantity, that said perhaps if a trojan quality manufacturer would pop up then maybe it could be a cost savings but I doubt it.
I do know one decent korean manufacturer of lead based sealed batteries but I am still waiting to test one when they finally ship.
