Yes, very impressive evfort with the camaro. I also enjoyed seeing the "Black Current" VW drag car, didn't realize it was the worlds fastest. Kinda weird seeing the steering wheel on the "wrong" side tho..LOL, still thinking that Americans rule the drag world I guess. David Chapman.

"Rocket", Shawn Lawless, 7.246 sec, 185.46 mph, Virginia Motorsports Park, April 30, 2011
"Current Eliminator V" Dennis Berube, 7.956 sec, 159.85 mph, SIR, Tucson AZ, Dec 30, 2007
"Killa-Cycle", Bill Dube, 8.462 sec, 145.53 mph, Bandimere Speedway CO, Oct 16, 2010
"Current Eliminator IV", Dennis Berube, 8,801 sec, 137.21 mph, Silent Thunder 2000 CA, Oct 21, 2000
and then
"Black Current III", Sam Young, 9.64 sec, 133.21 mph, Santapod Raceway UK, July 23, 2011

The EV Camaro, doing a run of 10.08, "terminal speed of 127 mph", is good, but still has a way to go
to set a record.

I think somebody got their facts wrong... or the facts were fed wrong to him...

Thanks for clearing this up Rush. I had thought that either Shawns car or C=
E was still the fastest but didn't think to either check the NEDRA site or =
just call Dennis. Heck I have him on speed dial, duh..Just shows to go ya, =
don't believe everything you see on the net. DC.
