Default Looking to buy an already converted Pickup

I want an EV but I would like to buy one already converted. I have been salavating over the LiionEV site's Ford Ranger: http://www.lionev.com/Trucks.html but the price tag turns me off. I have been looking at some used ICE versions ranging in the $6k - $8k. Is anyone willing to purchase the car from Carmax, convert to a 144V system with the range of at least 40 miles and freeway capable to 75mph with Lithium batteries then sell it? I live in California so I will reguard you more than out of CA simply because you are closer. The closer you are to Sacramento the better.

Also, any NetGain EMIS dealers/Installer near me? I have a Ford Explorer I would like augmented.

hybrad,
Just curious on an EV conversion if I would be able to retain the A/C & Heater? Also, it is a must that I retain the functionality of the Alternator but ideally I would like to be able to use 2 of them, Alternantors that is.
How much is a full conversion? I am going to assume the donor will be a manual transmission.

Hi Cos,

We would be willing to do the conversion for you or we have a Rav 4 that we just finished that will be available soon (We are beta testing Synkromotives new controller in it) The Rav 4 has 48 200AH LiFePO4 cells, and everything works just as the factory rav did. It has a liquid heater and air conditioning, E-vision, ect. This is about as nice a conversion as you will find. We are in Olympia, Wa

yes, it just lowers your range...conversions start at $17K including LA batts. Lithium conversions start at $15K with batteries extra. Many variables and each car is made to the owners desires. We have already converted PT Cruisers and 911's ready for sale. What are you looking to convert and do you need the alternator to run at stop?

We also specialize in Ford Rangers. I can build you an Ford Ranger EV with lead-acid batteries if you are worried about cost and still give you 50 mile range and freeway speeds ($15,000 shipped). But I can (and would prefer) to use Lithium batteries and give you further range ($30,000 shipped). The only caveat to our lithium batteries is that you would need a 220v outlet to charge them. -thanks, Mike
