[appleseed]

I am planning to build a ebike this summer. I was hope to use my existing road bike and add a dc brushed motor behind the seat and above the wheel. It will be a chain driven and not friction bike.

But the real question is i was planning on buying from electricmotorsports.com

Has anyone here had any problems with electricmotorsports?
Any good things to report, i searched around here and a few other websites but oddly there isnt any reviews.

Second, are there any smaller brushed dc motors out there since i wont really need 4kw but am finding a hard time finding some.

goals:
30mph with 140 lbs rider
better acceleration than when pedaling (but without the assistance)
reliable
cheap (ish)
