Default For Sale: Azure Dynamics AC24 & DMOC445 - $2000/obo SOLD

Hi Folks,

I've upgraded to a monster BLDC motor, and now have my AC24 and DMOC445 gathering dust in my garage. The motor and controller both work great (over 4000 miles with them). The motor is set up for Wye configuration.

I'm asking $2000/obo for the pair. Buyer will be responsible for shipping costs - so they can choose the company and speed.

Cheers, Peter

Hello. Will you consider selling just the controller?

I'd rather not - they are a matched set. The DMOC will only work with their motors.

Cheers, Peter

Hi again. Actually, one of the great things about the dmoc is that it is incredibly configurable and is able to work with just about any ac motor you attach to it.
I respect your answer. Thanks anyway .

Yup, very configurable. My basic problem is that I have a mid-engine car (1975 porsche 914) that is notorious for bad airflow, so the controller would do heat slowdown on my drive home. I added fans and that helped, but that is really noisy. So if you have good airflow, this is a great combo.

Thanks for not insisting. I really don't want an extra motor lying about the garage (along with my spare Elithion system).

Cheers!

How hard would it be to mount in an 83 VW Rabbit? I currently have an FB4001A mounted could I reuse its adapter plate and coupler? Airflow is not a problem in this vehicle I wonder how the performance would compare?

The mid-80s rabbits are nice, light vehicles, so the AC24 should do well. You will need to put in enough batteries to keep about 120v (below that, the controller is very weak). The controller is actually able to handle up to 400v, but that makes for a LOT of batteries. If I remember right, with the motor in the Delta configuration, your rest voltage should be 156v.

If you like, I can send you the AZ sales sheet for the AC24 and DMOC445, since the file is bigger than the forum's limit.

Cheers, Peter
