Has anyone used one of these in there conversion?

I used to put them in my father's farm tractors. Each time they out lasted the tractor. It says it has a chromoly tempered hub. What are OEM hubs made from.

I used a simpler one from Scat without the springs. It was $35 and was copper + feramic. It used a heat treated hub with longer splines.

I suspect it doesn't matter all that much what kind of clutch you use because we don't slip the clutch to start out and this is where most of the wear comes from.

I am guessing that in a typical conversion that isn't raced even a normal clutch will last forever.

I am more concerned with the fact that I have more than twice the ICE torque and I think maybe a heavier pressure plate would be a good idea.

they can take much more torque . not so good for slipping . great for evs!

Various members have stripped out the splines of the clutch hub. Some of these were softened by welding. The after market clutch disk makers some times talk up the metallurgy of their hub.
