Default Pontiac Sunfire

Anyone noticed the similar profile shape between the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and the EV1? I wonder if putting a shroud around the wipers, a full underbody pan, and removing the rear spoiler would drop air resistance to anywhere near how slippery the EV1 is? Also, how difficult is it to either add fender skirts (requiring moving the rear wheels inward) or narrowing the whole rear of the car to get a teardrop shape (also requiring moving the rear wheels inward)? I've been having so much resistance from people telling me not to build the solar car because it either won't work (which I know it will, it's built as an EV, the solar is extra) or it'll never get through red-tape. What I'm considering is finding a Sunfire, converting it to electric, and doing Aero mods to make it look like an EV1, I think I even found a set of EV1 wheels.
