[EVDL List]

Hello,
First time posting over here. Been active over at DIY for some years.
Reading EVDL helped me multiple times dealing with issues when I was
converting the 37 Jaguar to electric (EValbum #3980). So thanks.

I am currently organizing a bulk buy of a new water-cooled BLDC drive system
called the Scott Drive. I want to bring the first group to the U.S. for
testing. The drive is actively being used in several vehicles in NZ and has
been shown on their national news.

If 5-10 folks (global) order together then there are price breaks from the
motor manufacturer.

I am not selling these motors/controllers and will make $0 on this deal. I
want to test them for my own use and figured a group buy could work out
nicely for those interested in moving beyond the current crop of available
motors.

Here is some basic info on gross power levels and cost:

Scott Drive 100 nominal 400v, 400A. $3000
Scott Drive 200 nominal 400v, 600A. $3600
Scott Drive 300 nominal 600v, 600A. $4??? - currently in design/prototype
stage..

320v Motor, 35kw 1hr rated, ~100kw max, 111nm 1hr, ~360nm max, 70kg, $2600
320v Motor, 55kw 1hr rated, ~200kw max, 164nm 1hr, ~515nm max, 85kg, $3400
540v Motor, 60kw 1hr rated, ~300kw max, 164nm 1hr, ~650nm max, 85kg, $4100

Max power levels are gross estimates. The motors will be dyno tested when
they arrive.
These are the prices quoted to me by the motor/controller manufacturers.
