Default [EVDL] USElectricar S10 owners, what grade oil are you using in the adapter bearing?

The little plastic oil container for the transmission adapter for my
USElectricar S10 looks like it needs a little more oil. What grade oil
are others using?

thanks,
Paul Wallace

Paul,

It may be best to send this request to the USE list
although I can already say that I never noticed a
transmission adapter of sorts,
The only things that contained oil were the brake
fluid reservoir and the power steering reservoir.
Of course the transmission and diff contained oil
but I never noticed a reservoir for either.
Now, I cannot exclude that there may have been USE
with a reservoir on the transmission as not all
USE were built in the same way or from identical
vehicles, so you may have a different one that I had
for example what was unique in my truck was a gear
selector on the steering column where other USE S10
had a floor shifter (it did not operate the transmission,
it was simply instructing the controller to go forward,
backward and to increase regen braking on "low gear".
The only mechanical connection was a parking pawl for
the P setting.
