Like the sun, maybe?

Well, I'll leave it to the scientists to puzzle out. In the mean time, I will support rational measures to reduce emissions but not "Cap & Steal."

Regardless of the source of warming, if as you say the warming is simply a factor of coming out of the last ice age, we are still seeing some isolated record lows. We are seeing more record highs however. The record highs outweigh the record lows, which means the average goes higher. Just because you are seeing some local records doesn't mean that's what the whole planet is doing. Remember when you average the whole planet together what we are talking about is maybe a degree or two of increase right now. If we saw a 10 degree planet average rise then I'd say you wouldn't see any low temperature anomalies. There is only so much energy in the climate at any time, so if many areas are seeing record highs then it's not surprising to me that some areas will see some record lows.

Al Gore Caught Making Up Stuff Again

In his speech, Mr Gore told the conference: “These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 per cent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years.”

“It’s unclear to me how this figure was arrived at,” Dr Maslowski said. “I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this.”

Al Gore sued by 30.000 Scientists

Nice - the second video provides evidence that rising CO2 actually INCREASES the health of coral reefs and coral-producing critters.

Hard to call any of this "science" when the assertions don't match the observable evidence...

Put another way: If we think the scientists and the public are confused now, just wait until the lawyers get THEIR say on things...

John Coleman is trying to force Gore and his cronies to debate "climate change" in front of the nation instead of saying he's correct and everyone that doesn't agree is wrong.
