It Jack or whoever the organize of this event responsible for the safety first! And how come there were no SAFETY AT ALL! How come you guys allowed this yellow car as I see on the video did the run without a HELMET,also I wounder if he had his safety belt on?

I allowed the slower vehicles to race without a helmut if they signed a waiver. All cars passed safety inspections. But, here we go again, another NEDRA guy in attack mode.

Albano, I should be telling you to mind your business, but I will respond with an answer. Some of our cars were only hitting 40 to 50 mph in the 1/4 mile, I had no problem letting them race without a helmut. We did provide helmets for all when needed. Please, EVCCON has nothing to do with you or any other NEDRA official, so move on.

Are safety rules really necessary for speeds no greater than what is seen on the highway? That doesn't seem rational.
