well so did I but by switching left for right the same code in fact no mater what i do the same code so I seem to think the unit is shot

So I found the issue and had it repaired now the build has started

I had to Send controller and joystick to OEM they found bad "com" board in joysticky.

ok so now I need some idea's
I need batteries
the system is set up for 24v I have been using "junk" laying around my little shop 2x 12v car bat's I know this will never do so what to get keeping in mind I have no budget and the wife does not know about it yet
any ideas??

I throw my saturn around with MAXX29's from walmart. i paid 99 each. 125Ah and lots more current than you need. A pair of those should do just fine. Make sure you rig up a battery meter(24 volts is a good number to order a SOC meter for). nothing is more embarrassing than having to push your toolbox robot!

My mistake: State Of Charge meter.

Basically a gas gauge for batteries. Far more useful at a glance than a volt meter.
