Other Notes: I was given an El cheapo Chinese E200 scooter. I soon scrapped it and hand built the hog using the guts out of the scooter, a 350 watt 24V motor and 2 X 7 Ah sealed lead acid batteries and some bicycle parts. I hand made just about everything. It's got a 13inch 6inch wide space saver tire from a car for a rear wheel, trail bike forks with a 24 inch mountain bike front wheel. The rear fender is the front fender of a Harley. It's got all the gear of the scooter on it, 24V lights, indicators, horn. The electric drive has got pretty tall gearing and wont pull you of the line, so you have to pedal at first, but once your going you can roll her on. It's like being stuck in 4th gear. I need to get bigger batteries as it only does about 40Kph for about 8 km or 5 miles on flat terrain then it's a bicycle. Anyway It was a good exercise to get me into the fundamentals of an EV.
