Other Notes: Hi After about one year I get a maximum range of 25 miles, down from my original maximum of 27 miles. I am (still) working on the sealed and vented plastic cover for the rear battery bank so I can charge the batteries outside! I hope to be done summer 2011. I still charge in my garage with the windows and hood open to vent the hydrogen and the acid vapors. I installed a 30A 120V outlet and a 30A 220V outlet in my garage for the charger. The charge current starts at about 22A 120V. I also installed a 20A data logger from "Watts Up" to keep charge of my electrical usage. It has a cool web interface. Check out the difference between the D&D 7.75 inch and the Advanced DC 9 inch 4001A motors. I also uploaded images of the heat sensor and the hall effect sender for the tachometer. Check out the MES heater on the fire wall and the big 2ott inductor in series with the contoller. My next projects will be to finalize the dash in black plastic and install the dash lights. I suppose I can install the stereo speakers too.
