1978 VW Beetle 1303 Convertible - "ICE Breaker 2"
I'm currently converting a 1967 VW Split Screen Bus (here) and a friend has recently started converting a 1978 VW Beetle 1303 Convertible
Both vehicles will use components from the Tesla Model S with open source controllers, including the ~250HP small rear drive unit. The only real difference between the two vehicles will be the battery, with the Bus using Tesla Modules and the Beetle using Nissan Modules.
Currently the chassis and body have been separated and work is being undertaken to replace the holes where metal once existed
