Front and rear packs all wired up. 120+ volts at the controller!



Aluminum sheet metal fits nicely over the fan to keep the weather off the batteries



Circuit breaker in plastic box. Still need to connect the emergency shut off cable to it.

Interesting work. You have a lot of exposed conductors around your batteries. Some insulating sheets to cover them up would be a good idea. One dropped tool or piece of metal on an exposed conductor could ruin your whole day. Also, what type of main breaker are you using? Some of them need to be in a certain positioned to work properly.

I always cover what I am not working on with plastic garbage bags to avoid the short circuits. I got that idea from someone else on here, good tip. It has helped me avoid bad days. I am still thinking about how I want to cover them all permanently, maybe clear Plexiglas sheets.

Also, what type of main breaker are you using? Some of them need to be in a certain positioned to work properly.
Thanks for the warning. I will check. Now that you mention it I do think that it said something about positioning..... I am using it primarily for the ability to easily shut everything down, but to have it be a functional breaker would be nice too.
