2007 Rabbit/Tesla. Split Tesla LDU, 8 BMW I3 94ah batteries, AEM-EV controller, BMS, VCU200, Push buttons, Volt DC to DC converter, Tesla gen 2 controller. Custom engineered split motored LDU for drive shaft builds. S550 Mustang Torsen differential and suspension. Split motor can be used for drive shaft cars, old Mustangs, Camaros, Barracudas etc even 4x4 setups with a little added engineering. Uses a Tesla Model 3 oil pump for gear lubrication in reduction setup. Turn key ready to go. No Air conditioning or heater.

Each module is 15 L x 12 W x 6 H". My best guess on weight is approx 50 lbs each. As they say the whole battery pack is 450 lbs. The big enclosure they come in the car is approx 50 lbs. They are in the car still so weighing one is not an easy task.

Hi everyone, Sorry, I've decided to sell the whole car instead of just the batteries.
2007 Rabbit, Split Tesla LDU motor, S550 Mustang rear Torsen diff and suspension, 8 BMW I3 94ah batteries, Complete AEM controller, BMS, VCU200, CD7 dash, Tesla Gen 2 charger, Volt DC to DC converter, Tesla M3 spray oiling system for reduction gears in Tesla LDU motor.
It has lots of split motor engineering to use if that is something your interested in. The system could be taken out and used in an early Mustang, Camaro, or whatever to be able to use a drive shaft or hook to a transfer case for 4 wheel drive. I believe $25,000 is a fair price but will listen to reasonable offers.

What's the deal on your split motor/reducer? iirc, this was the testbed for it.
You going to build and sell them, do kits for BYODU, or Open Source the design?

Yes, it was the test bed for it. I really have not made a decision on producing them, it is possible in the future or someone who buys the Rabbit can reverse engineer it and offer kits. I do all this as a hobby really since I've retired and to start a new manufacturing business at my age just does not seem prudent. I'd love to be an advisor on this or help someone get these going as it is a viable alternative to the way overprice option out there.

Hi Roadstercycle. I am also working on a split motor/inverter with help from another member here @57Chevy as well as contributions from several other members here in my posts.. It was stalled as we were both busy on different things. Certainly if you could help advise me on my adapter I would greatly appreciate it. I just acquired an LDU a few weeks ago and I bought a set of batteries that will be arriving this week. My hope is to test the LDU before I take it apart so I know I didn't break something, so I am still a ways off. if you have any CAD I was struggling to get detailed surfaces for the internals. Also I am an ME so I am not versed in the mysteries of high power voltage. thanx
