Group,

I have a 2011 AZD T/C that is showing a SecuriLock icon on the dash but yet my remote still locks and unlocks my doors.
While trying to figure out that issue the 12V battery went dead.
I have charged it back up but now the HV batteries are not showing any charge on the dash and will not take a charge from either the 120V or 220V chargers.
I did check the High Voltage Inertia Safety Switch (thanks to this site) but it has not corrected any issue.
My question is where is the de mark between the 12V systems and the HV systems?
I assumed that the Ford SercuriLock was a system driven from the 12V battery.
I am thinking that this vehicle may be more valuable as parts than for me to try and get it running.
I am open the thoughts and recommendations.
Thanks

I have a 2012 AZD with some HV battery problem, when i am using the diagnostics on the car my securilock icon often show up but when disconnecting the kvaser reader and cycle the igninting it goes away, this making me suspect some interference on the canbus triggering the securilock... mabe it wont help you but if you decide to part out the wehicle i am interested in the 2 BMS modules in the battery pack :)

Thanks Robin

Any luck with your van? What happened to it?

I've got quite a few lights lit up on my dash including the SecuriLock. Like yours, most other fob features seem to be working.

I've been going through fuses, and the F35 fuse under the hood is burnt, and a replacement pops immediately with the ignition off. The Azure docs I've seen are ambiguous, but the FORD docs suggest potentially being attached to the PCM (Powertrain Control Module).

I still have more diagnostics ahead..

Hi! I just got the serial to usb special cable and I'm installing windows XP on a old laptop. However I can't find the tcbev software... Do someone have it and can email it to me ? It would be really appreciated! Thx. I got the wrench and turtle and it doesn't start randomly.

Have you checked out this thread?

@2011 Azure has uploaded:
AZD_Diagnostics_Drivers_v1.2.0.msi
TCEDTv2-8-4.msi
TDT_Setup.exe

I haven't tried installing it yet. Apparently it requires a Kvaser USB-to-CAN adapter.

In my case, which I think was similar to the OP in this thread, @DBINDY, a short in the charging system was knocking out the ECU, and I don't believe was allowing the OBDII to work anyway.

Wow! Thx a lot! You made my day! I'll download it and I will be of the transit tomorrow to find what is not working.

I saw the thread about the F35 fuse, which is ok on my transit, thx!

I got the laptop and software working but I don't know how to make the software communicate with the adapter. I see error count raising on the software. When I click on connect to can nothing changes. The kvaser tool lists my leaf light v2, and two virtual ones. The real one is on channel 0. I can assign things on this tool to the channel 0 but it changes nothing on the tcbev software. I'm missing something and any help will be really appreciated.

The Bmswireless black box flashes a yellow light as always plus a red one when the cable is plugged. On the cable the power light is on but not the can one.

Thx

What are the symptoms of your car? Dash lights?

What model year?

I think I may finally have mine running without the OBDII software, so I haven't tried it out yet. I know my power to OBDII was dead when I got the vehicle (F35), but I'm not sure that is entirely needed.

Perhaps reply in the software thread for assistance with that.

Hi,

Wrench and turtle, no heating, 30km autonomy. 2011 30000km. I did not know there is a software threat, I'll check it.

Thx!

Please. check the cable.
Hi, so you think I need a second cable which is plugged directly in the obdII port? I'll try it since it's not expensive. For now I'm plugged on the dsub9 from the "wireless BMS" black box beneath the glove box.

Thx!

Sorry, I don't understand what you are talking about here. :)
I got an answer from someone else. It's a fleet monitoring device. I'm plugged at the wrong place. I will solder a new adapter cable from obdII to db9 and plug all that directly in the odbII! Thx!

Salut!

Merci!

Check carefully. Its hard to check the connection from your picture, but, in my opinion, there is an error.
I have same homemade cable, and its works good. Don't forget termination resistor 120 ohm between CAN H and CAN L, mabe it will help.

Hi, I did not know about the 120ohm resistor, I'll add that today thanks!
It communicates but the tcbev software is laggy as hell. It hangs when click "connect to can" and start to operate only when I unplug the usb cable?... And obviously it says disconnected. Maybe the resistor will fix that.

Thank you!
