240 volt relay... Need help finding one.

Hello,

I am looking for a relay that will trigger an EV200 contactor when the relay detects 240 volts.

In a nutshell I am adding batteries to my EV and its OEM pack. I cannot get the 12v signal that goes to the OEM contactors. My goal is to close the contactors for my second pack when the OEM contactors close and open when the OEM contactors open.

The OEM contactors are controlled via CAN which is not my forte. To keep it simple, I need a relay that will send 12 volts to my EV200 contactors in my second pack when it detects 240 volts coming from the OEM pack. Ive never seen such a product. Does it exist?

Duh, I need it to be capable of higher voltage than 240. Its a Tesla pack and its capable of up to 386 volts. Brain fart.
Commercial hvac or: voltage divider

Find out how much current you use to run relay then use ohms law to solve for necessary resistance.

It wont be much current at all. It just needs to trigger a 12 volt EV200 contactor.
Have you seen a 400 volt relay? I did some searching online last night and found 240 volt units. One person said in an old thread that they dont exist and that the OP had to use a step down transformer. He was doing something similar. Transformers waste power and I would prefer not to do that.
