My Ebike build from a few years back. Just a mountain bike frame with a bunch of waterjet crap bolted to it. Absolutely worth learning CAD software so you can send vectors for plasma/waterjet.

Each wheel is 1500w, with a switch on the dash to go from RWD to ‘AWD’. More of a party trick than anything. Each motor has its own controller, which are linked together to one grip throttle. 52v system, 40ah battery built custom for my frame size. Hubs/controllers where just an Ebay find - No regen, no special gimmicks.

Did the first pass out of wood and cardboard while I was deciding where to mount stuff.. You can tell where safety was on my priority list. Apparently somewhere below redbull.

I'd been wanting to convert a vehicle for years, and completing a bike was an easy, cheap start.

Looks great. Give us the specs. Top speed? Any slowdown climbing a hill? How fast can you tow a car?

Thanks. They are Voilamart motors. Ebay page says 50-60km/h - They’re just the ones that had the best reviews 4 years ago.

Most I’ve towed is 3 people on a platform dolly across campus, and out-accelerated a shitbox Honda. Not great metrics, but basically enough to get hurt, which was the goal.

Did similar internals on a fish bike build:
Cloud Sky Wheel Jaw Watercraft

Sky Wheel Tire Vehicle Automotive tire

White Bicycle Jaw Automotive design Automotive lighting

To anyone starting a large EV project: Make a bike, a go-cart, a mini-jeep or something small to START with, before you end up with a partially assembled $15k++ high voltage nightmare in your driveway.

Might be a bit off-topic, but how did you make body of this bike? Plywood? 3D printed? Might be useful for one of my future projects :D
