I have (6) used (test good) 8G31 Gel Batteries that will work for Solar, Golf Cart or other Electric Vehicles.

These batteries were originally in a FORD THINK electric vehicle.

These will also work for Motorhome, RV's, Trailers, Boats and other applications where deep cycling and frequent charging is required.

I am asking $125 each or $650 for all six (6) batteries.

I am in Southern California, so these would have to "PICK-UP ONLY".

Thanks,

Dave

Can I ask what makes you believe a 9+ year old gel cell is worth anything more than a core charge? Maybe there is someone doing a concourse class restoration of one that might want them in order to be 'correct', but I can't imagine any scenario where they really are any good for driving.

These batteries were put into storage shortly after the car was purchased and not used for 8 years while they were in storage.

Just recently we brought them, charged them all up using a desulfation type charger and they seem to be working fine.
I just took the voltage readings from them this morning and they are all holding a real good charge.

#1 - 12.86 volts
#2 - 12.87 volts
#3 - 12.78 volts
#4 - 12.78 volts
#5 - 13.10 volts
#6 - 12.98 volts

Also, when I do a load test, these all pull over 600 amps for 10 seconds without a drop in voltage.

Not sure I can explain it, except that due to the fact that the batteries were in storage and not being charged and discharged, they seem to have not deteriorated like batteries that are constantly being charged and discharged.
