First of all let me say this is not an EV question but I was hoping one of the electrical engineers might have some advice for me. I have been tinkering with small (several kw) induction heaters for quite some time and after watching an induction furnace at a foundry melt several hundred pounds of stainless that has become my latest project. So after looking through many schematics for the inverter/ variable freq control I am trying to come up with something I can use since I’m really not up to building it from scratch right now. So I’m wondering about using a motor controller, problem is all my controllers are Curtis dc PWM controllers. I need AC variable frequency ( up to several hundred kHz) at a hundred volts or so and somewhere between 20 and 50 kw. The catch is I need single phase. So does anyone have any ideas if there is some sort of controller I can use. Thanks in advance and sorry for the long post
