Hi all,

I'm having issues with a 220-240VAC 50Hz motor that's being used for a desk fan.

When connected to power, the rotor + shaft vibrate in the stator but do not rotate. It's also somewhat difficult to manually rotate the rotor when connected to power, though easy with power disconnected (i.e. doesn't seem like a clearance issue).

Any thoughts? Would rather fix than replacing the whole unit.

Apologies if this post is in the wrong forum, cheers
