Does anyone remember this World War II comedy series from the 80's & 90's?

For those who don't know, in a nutshell the whole show is a take-off from the very serious 70's espionage series Secret Army.

Allo Allo basically takes the piss out of the English, the French, the Italians
and the Germans. No one is safe!

This is a typical scene involving the bumbling Germans who occupy the town.

I'm not sure if it was ever broadcast in the USA but it was damn funny - or at least it appealed to my childish sense of humour!

We had "Hogan's Heroes" set in a WW2 German prison camp.

It was a good show also.

Doncha 'jes luv the way Hollywood always depicts German Soldiers.
They all speak Broken English to each other with a German accent.
But if the film was made in England, they speak Broken English with a British accent.
Do you suppose films from India............?
