Alternative Cells

Hello guys,

I am on a EBIKE projet and actively searching for some new ways of powering the Ebike. Especially with alternative cells rather than the average 18650 cells. (Prismatic, big amp/hour capacity one,...etc)

Some months ago Eplb cells from EIG company were available but not anymore if i am not mistaken.
Is there anyone who still have some ? (EIG Eplb C020b)
Do you guys know some alternatives cells i could use ?

Thank you in advance.

Samsung has some prismatic cells in 10Ah and up sizes. Lg has pouch cells 10Ah and up.. and others have pouch cells from 8Ah and up. If you can get ev batteries the ford Cmax engeri has 24Ah prismatics not sure of any other EV with prismatic near 20Ah. Many prismatic cells are larger which for an ebike might be too big.

Thank you for your very fast reply.

Alright, max size of the box would be 140 mm x 200 mm x 300mm but really max ( with BMS, isolation foam, cables, plugs,...etc).

For the Weight: no real limitation.
Power : 72V 40Ah (or more) 3000W would be perfect.
Speed limitation : (i have a controller that can be setted to limit the max speed).

What i have most struggle with is the width since 140 mm is quite narrow.

I am trying to find the same cells!! ... did you find a solution ?
It would be interesting to know the cell options for that dimension.
Hand Tool batteries may fit in the 140mm width.
But, hitting 72V x 40AH would mean several of them.

I'm seeing packs of say 80V, 5AH, so you'd need to get about 8 to make the 40AH.

You're probably taking up about twice the allocated space.
