how did it go on ebay? looks like a nice conversion! was it built on spec to sell, or ???
No, I actually wanted to keep it... but I used credit cards to purchase the parts... and the charges were huge... so I had to sale it to get out of debt...

now, I am saving money to build another one... but don't use credit cards this time...

Lesson learned.
it didn't sell the first time around on ebay? I am surprised!
No, I sold it locally... when I posted for sale, gas prices were really low and folks kind of "lost interest" in EV's...

I still haven't found a good donor vehicle... I am saving for LiFePO4 batteries.

The next car will be another Aveo... about the same as the other one... but it will be a 312V electric system... with 100AH batteries.. Lithium... this should save about 1000 lbs of weight. and give me about 128 miles in Range....

This car is pretty light, and "new looking" all of the US models have the Radio/CD Player... I already have another OEM Like unit... so the next one will be very ...very nice... the price will be a little high.. around 30 grand... but I doubt that I will sale it at this high price... so I might have to enjoy this one...

I am trying not to go into debt... which will be almost impossible....

I am trying to find a good source of Lithium batteries...

anyone?

Thanks

Marcos.

I just got the donor vehicle... it;s a 2004 Aveo... but this one is the sedan model... also a 5 speed manual...

it will be just like this one... but 312V pack with AGM's... still can't afford lithium...

If anyone would like to pre-purchase this vehicle... let me know... takes me about 1 month to complete it.

Thanks
How much do you anticipate the sticker price to be? KCMO
