Hi all
I have 6 of these BAE bus modules I am putting 4 in my 36v golf cart. Some modules have dead cells, or some other irregularities. I have some modules apart. For example, I have one module which has say 3.3v across 11 of the 12 series connections, but 0.0v across the other. My ohmmeter shows that there’s continuity from the plus side to the minus side of the plates which I don’t think should be there. I am unsure of the mechanism of how it’s doing this. does anyone know of a way to test and figure out which cells are bad?
I’m charging the dead cells with a power supply set to 3.6 V and 0.6A, but they are not accepting a charge.
TIA
