Batt Bridge Mk2?

Please help me here if my idea is complete crap and will end up melting things down horribly.

I'm wanting to put a Lee Hart Batt Bridge on my 48v pack. However, while playing around with it in a circuit simulator, the potential difference needed to light an LED was much too great for my comfort.

Instead of using LEDs in the logic, I'm using OpAmps. The great advantage is a much more customizable sensitivity and a reduction in current draw on the pack.

I'm pasting in the circuit model below and including an image of the logic circuit.

Just load http://falstad.com/circuit/ then use the import function, and paste in the text below.
