I have a few batteries from Tesla model Ys for sale. Can sell as whole packs or individual modules.

Would you be willing to get pictures of the parts between the modules and the road, and a measurement of the thickness of the sheet metal on the bottom of the pack? I'm trying to figure out how much protection the bottom of the pack has.

I see. Mine still has modules in it. Remind me in a week, after I take out the modules I will check. But I think there is move than 1/2" empty space below modules, pretty well protected. I bought many teslas with big dents in the bottom and batteries were fine.

It's not sheet metal. It's plate on the Model X. I'm not sure there's a place to measure thickness, but I'll try to remember to look today as it's a good datapoint for people to have.

There are crosscar rails inside the box that are welded to the plate as well, which are placed about 13 inches apart (module width roughly) so thickness gives you puncture resistance, but that and those rails prevent bending.

Alloy is another factor but I'd have no idea which it would be.

All that was not good enough and a recall retrofitted a titanium deflector plate in front of the pack after road debris encounter incidents.

The pack casing on the S/X is about 200 pounds heavier than the 3/Y, right? There's a huge difference in how they're designed. Still looking for the information since I've seen 3s and Ys with nice dents in the bottom of the pack housing.
