Blockchain/Crypto EV at CES

Hi all, I was at CES here in my hometown of Vegas today, and I saw a car that really interested me. It was called the One, from a company called INDIEV in Los Angeles. The car's big selling point is it has a computer inside of it. The lady talking with me at the booth said that the computer is super powerful, and that the car was part of a blockchain. I invest in a lot of crypto, but I don't fully understand blockchains as a technology. I'd appreciate some help understanding this, and getting opinions on using this in a car, as I'm pretty interested in the vehicle. Thanks!
