Hi all,
So I've been working on converting a 914 porsche for almost a year now and I at last got my controller configured properly. I pressed down on the throttle and heard a clunking sound, which was a real step in the right direction because before I had just gotten an error message.
To my elation I pressed the trottle again for a few seconds longer with the same results, then the motor just stopped turning. When I laid on the potentiometer again I could hear a faint sound that was something like a dying man's moan. I could see no movement on the shaft. I tried a different gear with no success.
I dont have an error message from the controller and neither did my fuse blow. I know I am running at the upper limits of my motor's capacity (120V) but for it to go after like 5 seconds surprised me. I'm also not entirely sure it was even turning the transmission since I didn't get a chance to turn around and see the wheels.
Any thoughts?
